Stepping Up: KEEN Footwear Supports Taking Ownership PDX Volunteers

On June 27, Taking Ownership PDX's most active volunteers were invited to a special event hosted by KEEN Footwear, where many received a free pair of high-quality utility footwear to assist in future volunteer projects. KEEN, a 21-year-old, family-owned, and values-led footwear brand based in Portland, connected with us through their KEEN Garage retail location in the Portland Pearl District. Impressed by our mission, KEEN provided funding through their KEEN Effect program, which supports initiatives focused on people and the planet. We are grateful for their support and excited for the enhanced impact our volunteers can now make!
