Living Room Realty Honors Randal Wyatt with Excellence Award

Last month, Portland-based real estate brokerage Living Room Realty presented Taking Ownership's Founder and Executive Director, Randal Wyatt, with their Excellence Award. The Excellence Award is bestowed upon Portland Metro business owners and real estate brokers who exhibit leadership, excellence, and a spirit of generosity. Randal was recognized for his creation of the nonprofit and his impactful work in the Portland community, particularly through initiatives like the PDX Housing Solidarity Project, organized to redistribute wealth to Black and Indigenous first-time homebuyers. 

Randal’s efforts in assisting Black and Indigenous homeowners with essential repairs and maintenance was also acknowledged. The celebration took place at Living Room Realty’s office on April 10 and included a gathering of community members and a one-on-one interview with Randal to learn more about his journey, lessons in leadership, and strategies for success.
