Getting to the Root of It: Growing Movements from the Ground Up

We recently hosted the "Getting to the Root of It: Growing Movements from the Ground Up" workshop with Oregon Humanities, and it was a resounding success! Led by Randal Wyatt, founder of Taking Ownership PDX, this workshop focused on empowering individuals to become change-makers in their communities.

Randal, a lifelong Portland resident and experienced community organizer, shared his insights on addressing local issues through a collective approach. Participants explored grassroots models to tackle pressing challenges, learning how to connect their initiatives with broader community solutions.

This event was a chance to cut through bureaucratic red tape and create multi-faceted solutions to local problems, all while sharing perspectives and uplifting one another. We're excited about the actions we can take together!
